We are nothing without Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
Scripture says: Believe on Jesus, Confess Him as Lord of your life, and then simply Accept Him as your Savior.
God takes us as we are ... we have not done anything too difficult for Him to forgive nor do we need to do anything to make ourselves good enough for Him.
